We found this place while passing Albany, and its one of the best Indian restaurants i have visited in new york state, the taste is amazing must try their Biryani, chicken saag, Kashmiri Rogan josh and of course Mango lassi, highly recommend this place

Had lunch. Food was excellent and authentic. Good selection on the menu. Place was empty when we arrived at noon so the service was excellent (it got busy while we were there). Loved the chai tea with refills. They offered an interesting selection of ice creams - I had the mango which was very good.

A must visit! If you love real north India food! We went to the Maharaja India restaurant at Colonie for dinner and the food was amazingly tasty. In last 7 years, we have tried other Indian restaurants in the area but there is no comparison in the taste. The service was quick outstanding in warm and cozy atmosphere. We had a veg platter (includes almost everything) Paneer Tikka Masala and DAL MAKHANI…yes the real North Indian Dal Makhani!! We enjoyed the vegetarian entree with fresh Tandoori Naan bread and basmati rice. We highly recommend this place to everyone.
